Avoidable Charges
Incorrectly labeled cartons, Suitcases or other items
After boxes are sealed with tape, The following should be clearly written on each carton, suitcase or other item. Port/Airport of entry. Name & address of recipient and your Reference Number. Not securely taped cartons / box construction
Fold opposite sides of the carton together, do not ‘Weave’ flaps and then make sure the bottom and the top of each carton should be securely taped as per instructions on the carton, failing to do so will incur an additional charge:

Exceeding the cartons indicated maximum weight limit
Each carton has a maximum weight allowance of 40kgs, you will be advised of the maximum weight allowance at the time of booking. If any of the cartons in your consignment exceed the maximum weight an additional charge will be applied. The additional charge will depend on the additional cartons required.
Incomplete Paperwork
At the same time as you receive your empty cartons you will also receive all forms and a list of all the documentation required. All the completed forms and documentation required should be correctly completed had given to our driver upon collection. If the documentation is not returned at the time of collection and we need to contact you to recover the outstanding documentation there will be an additional charge:

Change of destination (consignee) address charge
Every consignment needs to be custom cleared on arrival at the given destination country. If the destination address requires amending or changing from the original contract we will have to re do the paperwork and let our agents and customs officers be aware of these changes and therefore will incur and administration fee:

Late Payment Charges
Payment must be made within 7 days of the collection/ invoice date if not late payment charges will incur GBP£ 25.00 after 7 days and £15.00 for each additional week thereafter, week one starting on the first Monday after day 7, up to a maximum of 12 weeks. After 12 weeks your consignment will be given to a local charity that Allfreight International support.
